Comment on Sanusi: CBN to stop Forex cash sale to Bureau de change by Kini BigDeal

This is long overdue.
It is a know fact that the enemy within is greater than the enemies outside. I have long advised President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure that he mandates Sanusi to scrap all Bureau de change business. The only body that should be responsible for FOREIGN EXCHANGE transactions in Nigeria should be the CENTRAL BANK of NIGERIA. The central bank must thus chose few commercial banks (1 or 2) who will have license with regards to NIGERIAN/ FOREIGN EXCHANGE transaction as the center for change. It is also of great importance that the medium must be electronic and strictly controlled, monitored and operated by the APEX body CBN.
Foreign exchange in large amount must be done only through the CBN and the commercial banks appointed for such purpose. If this policy could be implemented, I see better standard of living for Nigerians. Also it is targeted that with the implementation of this policy the Naira will appreciates to #22 to $1.
Black market and economic sabotage must be punishable by death, preferably by firing squad as hanging is humane. A law must be passed whereby it would be a crime to have access to foreign currency in Nigeria. Also all crude sales must be paid only to CBN in Naira.
